The submersible sewage pump adopts an automatic liquid level control device for automatic control. The types of automatic liquid level control devices, in addition to floating ball type liquid level switches, can also be selected as input type pressure sensors and supporting secondary instruments if the sewage does not contain or only contains a small amount of suspended impurities. The automatic liquid level control device installed in the sewage tank (sump) should be as far away from the water inlet as possible.

According to the current regulations of the relevant "Specifications", in addition to the use of fabric reinforced rubber hoses for the connection parts of mobile installation hoses, the discharge pipes of submersible sewage pumps can be made of hard water supply plastic pipes, centrifugal cast ductile iron water supply pipes, steel pipes, composite pipes, etc. The pressure bearing capacity of pipes and fittings should not be less than 0.6MPa.

The installation method of submersible sewage pumps used in the fire elevator sump of buildings should be two rigid pipe connected fixed or two fixed self coupling types, and the effective volume of the sump should not be less than 2.0m ³， The rated flow of submersible sewage pump is not less than 36 m ³/ h.

WQ and GNWQ series submersible sewage pumps have two basic forms: mobile installation and fixed installation. It can be selected according to the national architectural standard design atlas 01S305 "Selection and Installation of Small Submersible Sewage Pumps". The flexible connection mobile installation is only limited to submersible sewage pumps with motor power N ≤ 7.5kW and occasions with discharge pipe diameter DN ≤ 100mm.

Control valves, check valves, flexible rubber pipe joints, and pressure gauges should be installed on the discharge pipeline of the submersible sewage pump. Gate valves are recommended for control valves in the national architectural standard design atlas 01S305 "Selection and Installation of Small Submersible Sewage Pumps", and butterfly valves can also be used as required; Spherical sewage check valves are recommended for use as check valves.

For indoor sewage tanks (water collecting wells) with a single submersible sewage pump weighing more than 80kg, hooks should be embedded on the floor or beam above the manhole for lifting the submersible sewage pump during installation and maintenance.
