Precautions for installation and use of sewage pump

(1) Before starting, carefully check whether the electric pump is deformed or damaged during transportation, storage, and installation, and whether fasteners are loose or falling off.

(2) Check the cable for damage, breakage, etc. If there is any damage, replace it to avoid electric leakage.

(3) Check whether the power supply device is safe and reliable, and the rated voltage must match the nameplate.

(4) Use a megohmmeter to check that the insulation resistance of the motor stator winding to ground during cold state should not be less than 50M

(5) It is strictly prohibited to use pump cables as installation and lifting ropes to avoid danger.

(6) The rotation direction of the pump is counterclockwise from the water inlet. If the pump rotates in reverse direction, just switch any two of the cables to the wiring position, and the pump can rotate forward.

(7) The water pump should be vertically submerged in the water, not allowed to lie horizontally or sink into the sludge. When moving the water pump, the power supply must be cut off.

(8) After using the electric pump for many times, it must be put into clean water and run for a few minutes to prevent sediment from leaving in the pump and ensure that the electric pump is clean.

(9) When the electric pump is not used for a long time, it should be taken out of the water to reduce the chance of moisture on the motor stator winding and increase the service life of the electric pump.

(10) Under normal working conditions, after one year of operation, the electric pump should be maintained, replaced with worn and vulnerable parts, checked for fastening status, supplemented or replaced with bearing grease and mechanical oil in the oil chamber to ensure good operation of the electric pump.
