Submersible sewage pump is a pump product that connects a pump with a motor and works underwater at the same time. Submersible sewage pump has received increasing attention and has been used more and more widely. It has been used to transport various domestic sewage, industrial wastewater, construction site drainage, liquid feed, and so on from the original simple use of transporting clean water. It plays a very important role in various industries such as municipal engineering, industry, hospitals, construction, hotels, and water conservancy construction.
Maintenance is an important work to improve the stability, accuracy, and service life of testing instruments. It is also an important work to effectively prevent failures. For the maintenance of submersible sewage pumps, we need to do the following:
1. Replacement of sealing ring: After long-term use in sewage media, the gap between the impeller and the sealing ring may increase, resulting in a decrease in the flow rate and efficiency of the water pump. You should turn off the electric switch of the submersible axial flow pump, lift the pump, remove the bottom cover, and remove the sealing ring. Install the sealing ring according to the actual size of the impeller opening ring, with a gap generally around 0.5 mm.
2.When the submersible sewage pump is not used for a long time, it should be cleaned and hoisted in a ventilated and dry place, paying attention to antifreeze. If placed in water, run for at least 30min every 15 days (dry grinding is not allowed) to check its function and adaptability.
3.Check the cable at least once a year, and replace it if it is damaged.
4.Check the motor insulation and fastening screws at least once a year. If the motor insulation drops, please find a dedicated person to repair it. If the fastening screws are loose, please retighten them.

5. Before leaving the factory, the submersible sewage pump has been injected with an appropriate amount of engine oil to lubricate the mechanical seal. The engine oil should be inspected once a year. If water is found in the oil of the submersible axial flow pump, it should be drained, the oil replaced, the sealing gasket replaced, and the screw plug tightened. After three weeks, it is necessary to recheck. If the engine oil becomes emulsion again, the mechanical seal should be inspected and replaced if necessary.

6. After a failure occurs in the operation of the submersible sewage pump, please follow the troubleshooting methods provided. If the problem cannot be solved and the cause cannot be determined, do not disassemble and repair the pump without authorization, but immediately find a dedicated person to repair it.
